Angry dayum these trucks hate heat and humidity

Well 3 weekends ago at the brakets I ran a 12.92 @ 106mph in about 78 degree weather (maybe slightly cooler) with very low humidity.

This weekend I was back. Only new mod being my own ram air setup and denso IT22s.

My best run of the day was a 13.13 @ 104mph with a 1.906 60' time. And from there the times fell to a worste of 13.26 @ 102.7mph!!!! with a 1.916 60'. Now on that run I staged too deep and spun a lil which probably cost me about .05 seconds and about .2-.4mph (and a red light). But dayum. Checked the weather station. 87degrees 68% humidity low low low barrow and a 3640ft density altitude. OUCH!!!

I was running slicks however so my MPH was down 1-1.5mph from what it would have been on my F1s..(I pull the 60s on my F1s as I do the slicks, but the slicks are more consistant for the brakets as I race points)......

But I mean dayum. Over 2mph and .2s worse than 3 weekends ago.

Mods:
4# lower
Dyno burn ford chip
Bassani exaust.
All runs made with 5/8 tank fuel, spare tire, and trailer hitch still installed.

Try living in AZ where the temps are 110 with about 45% humidity right now. The truck has definitely lost its edge.

It's probably at about about 90% humidity at any given time around here this time of year.

You should try the heat and humidity, in Tampa FL!

From May to Oct, its around 88 to 95 degrees, and humiditys of around 65 to 100%.
Talk about sucking the power out of my L's hyper drive!

It's only been around 80ish here. Mid-60s at night.

But I'd rather live in an area where I can drive my truck the ENTIRE YEAR and deal with the heat and humidity in the summer rather than watch my truck sit there undriven in the winter .
