thanx for the compliments guys . Right now I'm running a 96 shot. And I have to give credit to my buddies for that install. They were slaving away while I was at work. hehe

Yes. The bottle is semi dangerous in the cab. I need a blow down tube incase the safety discs break. If they break without one, the cab will fill with nitrous followed by a deafening shreaking sound, probably causing me to wreck while the bottle is blowing out the nitrous. So, yeah, I need a blow down tube. But its not too often that they do break if your bottle is in good condition.

Dont forget to include the fact that you will dirty your underwear You are right they dont blow unless Bottle Pressure goes real high. I use to leave a full Bottle in my mudstain and in hot Texas heat never had it pop.

Nice install

BTW Refresh me are you running a 4lb or 6lb pulley ? Whos chip

im glad you like it nate, we slaved for a good couple of hours, i just taped the boot and stuck the nozzle in there and ran the line to the solenoids. then i changed the plugs as andrew was wiring away at the bottle warmer and arming switches. i have to say though, we hid the solenoids and everything pretty good. we could always put the only visible nitrous line in some black wireing shroud and call it a vacuum line.

Clean under the hood too
I meant it was a clean install under the hood,
not "clean under the hood"

switches 101...

is the button purge? then the toggle is nitrous on or off? How does that work? If you go with a dry setting, and all you have is on and off, what determains when nitrous is being sprayed? im used to just a basic set up on my friends mustang with a push button activation switch that is wired to his drivers seat and he holds it while he drives. and just pushes the button when he wants to spray. (when the bottle is on) that is the most simple way, can I get more info on switches and throttle activation and all. thanks, Shane

its all done with TPS or a switch at WOT

Shane- The switch on the left is the nitrous activation switch which puts power to the WOT switch on the Throtte Body. When I flip the switch on the left it arms the nitrous then when I go WOT it sprays the nitrous. The push button switch in the middle is my purge. And the switich on the right is my on/off switich for my electric fan.
