Kicked off track???

Has anyone here ever been kicked off their home track for breaking into the 11's? Will they let you come back later without a bar or are you banned until you get one? I would hope they'd at least let you de-tune and come back the next week. I'm really close to 11's and I'd like to know what to expect as I don't plan on a bar anytime soon. (but I still want that 11 sec time slip)Thanks in advance for any help.

If you are upfront with the tech guys, and tell them that you are only tuning they will generally let make a couple of passes that night.....but if you break into the 11s and try to speed around hide ,while the tech guys or track officials are looking for you than I would say Yes, you probably will get banned...I personally, would just be honest with the techs on your intentions..

Around here you get to break the rules once then they ask you to slow it down, if you don't you are asked to leave.

I thought I could get away without a bar this year, but it turns out I am somewhat a marked man/truck. Not to many 11 second street trucks around these parts and the track officials remember and even ask about where I have been. So before I go to the track this year I had to get a bar.

It seems to depend Jim
Hundreds seem to run 11's all the time at assorted tracks with no problem, yet some tracks will kick you out, I don't think you have to worry about getting banned, you can come back next week.

I was making 11 second passes up here with no helmet or roll cage.

They are pretty bad out here. Yank your run card and threaten to black ball you.

I have been plenty of 11.50's in a few different cars here. They make you have a cage at 11.49 here. But they did let me run 11.20's for a day and told me to slow down next time or bring a cage.... lol....

I was running 13's for a whole season, then when I grudge raced a new Z06 and beat him by running a 13.5 they booted me for no helmet. I think it all depends on how much attention you bring to yourself. An 11 second 4700lb truck probably brings a lot of attention
