Performance exhaust

I am interested in an aftermarket exhaust. I would like something that sounds nice, louder than stock but not too loud with the best performance increase.

Wink

I like my Bassani, but have it tack welded when you install. Mine fell off while I was driving down the street.

As soon as my magnaflow gets off of backorder, I will install it and post what I think of it.

People always tend to vote for what they currently own, so I'll cast my vote for the JDM Silver Bullit.

Exhaust sound is a matter of prefference I have had the JDM Silver Bullit and it sounds like ***** load with no tone change, I switched to the magnaflow dual in dual out with high flow cats better sound but to much cab noise. My friend Silver-Bolt has high flow cats and Bassani cat back and I dont no how anyone can say any exhaust sounds better than that set-up It is in my opinion not only the best made cat back but by far the best sounding. Now with that being said The Bassani tips must go and the 4" magnaflow tips put on.

You are aware that bassani uses the same mufflers for damn near every system they make. Magnaflow, the major competitor to bassani, develops new mufflers for certain applications, such as the Lightning for instance. They are also made of highly polished stainless steel and half the price of Bassani. They also have the most headache free customer service, which bassani does not have. I hear more in cab drone from dual muffler setups on lightnings then the single muffler dual in/out style.

Yea ****,

You get a lot of resonance with equal size mufflers. Ever drive next to another vehicle that happens to be at the same RPM or the exhaust happens to be at the same decible as yours? You hear that that drone or light pounding in your head, feels kinda weird. My GT' stock exhaust had one muffler smaller than the other for that reason, but with the Mac system major drone at certain RPM's. The exhaust on my Mach 1 which is not stock has same size mufflers and at certain RPM's my wife hated riding in it (too bad). Of course its all a matter of preference. Just trying to contribute something here.

Cat-Back

Bassani Mac's rust, Crap-Masters have a horific res about 40MPH Bassani's are ALL Stainless Lifetime waranty (if not welded on) By the way, and have NO harsh droan at any speed. What ever you get make SHURE it has some type of X-pipe or you can have performance problems

Bassani Only Way To Go

If you go with LTs and High-flow cats, the Borla sounds awesome. I have the Silver Bullet with LTs and Hi-flo cats.... Scary! I may switch back to the Borla.

Oh, and one more thing. Nobody touches Borla for quality. Nobody!
