Is X-Pipe worth anything?
Still trying to make room?
My intial setup replaced the x-pipe with the cutouts. No real HP gain, just volume.
Put them at the end of the header, have new pipes bent and weld in the cats. Reuse x-pipe in same location.
One trick:
Assuming you purchased pre-fab cutouts, trim back the outlet (NOT the dumpout) to the dumpout and re-weld a flange. you'll gain 2 inches. this will help you make the 90 bend on the drivers side but you'll have to have your mid-pipe cut and a new flange welded on.
so it goes: header, cutout, re-welded mid-pipe, O2 simulators, x-pipe, mufflers.
To gain power, that's the setup...
