Need to make room for cutouts.

While working on my brakes I was lookin to see where the exhaust shop was going to install the cutouts and there really isnt any room. I would put them right before the mufflers but since I have an X pipe that wont work. So I was thinking of replacing the the long cats(or is it 2 cats on each side) after the bend in the pipe with smaller high flows. Would there be any problems with this? Where are the O2 sensors? Could I just weld in bungs and put the O2 sensors in the new piping?

I run the new magnaflow high flower converter mid pipe. All i have now are 2 small converters. Definately plenty of room for cutouts.
