L only threw a few codes (9)

Went to get the truck checked, here are the codes that came up:

p1000 - not driven enough drive cycles to complete the OBDII requirements
p0243 - Wastegate Solenoid A Malfunction
p01229 - Intercooler pump driver fault
p0443 - EVAP VMV circuit fault
p1451- EVAP emission control sys vent control valve circuit
p0155 & p0135 upstream heated o2 sensor heater circuit fault (Bank 1&2)
p1409 - EVR Control Circuit Malfunction
p0171 - Fuel Trim System Lean (Bank 1)
and my favorite
Blower I have been working on for 2 year is trash, there is metal pieces in the nose fluid. Which means metal is in the bearings and they need to be replaced.

Toyota here I come!

Jeez what happened dude? Was this just a "routine checkup" that netted these codes, or was something wrong to begin with that made you take your truck in to get scanned?

If you get a Toyota, get a Supra. I heard those things are pretty quick...or something.

Or a Lexus IS430 if it ever comes out?

Half of the codes are due to the electric fan.

Please explain how the electric fan could be responsible for all of those codes??, I have had my electric fan over a year, as well as many others here, and have not had any problems at all, was your fan hooked up correctly??.

Larry.

Please clue me in too, on how an electric fan produced those codes. I just must be lucky with my electric fan.

Good luck with the toyota

Some of it sounds like you fueled the truck with the truck still running the O2 codes and lean code are more than likly the same cause.and the boost is from unplugging the dump. These are all guesses since I don't have the truck here to verify.Stan

Your right about the codes Stan, the lean codes occured when we where fabricating a bracket for the catch can and the truck was start without the 2 screws holding the left fuel rail down, Stupid, quickly shut engine off and tightened bolts down.
The intercooler pump is dead, so a new one was ordered.

My original blower was reinstalled on the truck and the 2# lower was switched back to the stock rubber pulley. No more marble sound and blower is quite again. My electric fan has always caused a huge strain on my electrical system. It is installed as the direction tell me. The ac relay wire is hooking into the ac clutch relay in the engine circuit box. This is where it is effecting my electrical system. When I discconect this wire all my electrical problems dissapear.

As for my polished blower, it will need to be rebuilt, luckly I know someone that has a really good connection. Much better bearing will be installed this time. Blower had mutiple areas inside the rotor casing that was rubbing from the rotor pack flexing. I say this becaue the oem blower that is back on the truck made the same noise the polished blower did.

Tampa,

What kind of fan setup do you have?

I bought one of Mads slick three stage controllers for mine. It doesn't tie in to the A/C clutch at all, works off a temp. sensor on the condensor so the fan doesn't run when I'm on the freeway with the A/C on.

Where can I find this kit and do you have anymore information on this 'temp' sensor. This seems like the logical setup to me!

I have the JDM Fan, but it seems nobody else has the problems I have. I have reinstalled the newer JDM wire harness that has seemed to help for alittle while.
Where can I get this 3 stage controller you recommend. Thanks
