JDM traction bar install

Well after having the bars in my garage for month and a half I finally got them on last night. I was suprised how easy it was to do the biggest prob was not having a driveline lift so had to do a little back work on jack stands for the ubolts.
All else went preety well except for the tourqe spec on the u bolts the bracket will bend if you try to set it to the sugested amount I just tightend them enough to my likeing same thing with the bars themselves did not want to pinch the the urathane(sp) bushings.
The stock u bolts by the way were so loose it wasent even funny so I was not concerned on how tight I got the new ones.
I will give this a 3 out of ten for difficulty of install if you have a lift.
I did notice a differance in the way the truck handles no shimmey when you hit a nice bump and no rattles from the bars either.
I also noticed no exhaust clearance problems so that is a plus for some of you who are interested in these
now I just have to get to the track which I doubt will be anytime soon...(wife 8 months pregnant and adding a level to my house at the same time need I explain)
sorry no pics dont have a camera
JDM nice product don't know about the others out there but these are good in my book

I suggest you go back and re-torque them after a 100 miles or so. Mine where loose.

Hows the slicks working for you?

Bruce I have not used them yet they have been in my garage
Like I said the wife is 8 months pregnant and I am adding a level to my house so I really don't have the time to try them out plus it is really a waist for me anyway in this heat Ill wait until the early fall ...maybe I even get some more goodies by then....

I will retorque them in a few hundred miles
thanks
Craig
