I have a 00L. The bumper is messed up so i bought a new bumper(off and 02)and new fog lights(off an 02)my question is since the fog lights mount different on the newer L's is this set up going to work? do i need to change any mounting brakets? is the fog light plug the same? anything i need to change or just a direct swap? thanks

fog light plug is different. The bumper bracket for the fog light is a little different too. I'm currently running an 01 bumper on a '99 truck with 03 fogs. I went ahead and bought a set of 03 lights and re-used the backs of the '99 assembly so that the pigtails would be the same. You can mount a '99 style rear assembly by rotating it 45 degrees and mounting it on the hole in the upper-left.

I highly recommend the 03 lenses and lamp, as it seems to be less crack-prone than either the '99-00 or 01-02 style.
