Talking HP Mods done, Time to Bling the up the L

Well the performance mods are pritty much all done. Ok the HP mods will never be done, but I can allways do a little HP mod here or there.

Since I dented the bottom of the fender a little in Ohio, also since it has 53,000 miles of rock chips on it I decided to do some custom paint work.

I dropped it off at the body shop the other day. The dent is all fixed, the hood and fenders have been stripped down to bare metal and all primed. The grill, the mirrors, and the door handles are off the truck. It looks like the paint work will be started sometime tomorow. The silver bace coat has to be done first, then the custom paint, folled by a bunch of clear coat.

I aint going to tell you exactlly what I am doing, and no it isn't flames. The paint I am using is Dupont Chromealusion Neon Blasberry. If all goes as planned I will be picking it up Friday late afternoon. I will try to post some pictures this weekend, if not very early next week.

I guess I am getting out of control, this little $300 dent is turning into a major project.

Hopefully everything goes as planned so we can see pictures of your truck on Friday or Saturday.

Well it won't be totally unique, I got the inspiration from another truck I saw. Even though mine is based of his idea, I made enough changes, that I hope you all will think it is unique.

He knows what I am doing, I made sure I asked him if it was ok to copy some of his work before I started the project.

First off Don... I just wanna say... 'I love you... your crazy, but I love you... " - Old School...

Second, im pretty sure I know what paint job your taking your idea off of, because I remember reading that you liked a paint scheme of someone else on the board. Put that together with the paint you selected (sweet azz color! my favorite paint ever since I saw it on a 300zx), and your going to have the sweetest paintjob ever man! Good luck!

Im guessing Don is going for the Boss look, similar to Lightning Bobs setup? Cant wait to see the colors you choose. Good luck and get those pics posted while its in the process. Fast trucks and custom paint go good together!

Cant wait until i do mine this coming fall.
