x-plan in CA??

Hey guys...
Was looking around at the new 03 cobras...was wondering if anyone knew a dealership in California that accepts X-Plan??

Also, Do i need a Pin number or something? If so, where would I go about aquiring one of these?

Oh, and If I wanted to trade in a vehicle, would that make any difference?

Thanks..

Most dealers out here seem to be jacka$$'s...but aren't they all?

You could always buy one from MI or something and get it shipped.

Just a thought.

Yeah I was thinking about that...
Any idea on how much it would cost to get it shipped? Or any risks?

Risks? Well I would recommend that the car be disabled before driven...so they can't do anything. On the other hand, carriers such as reliable are used by the auto industry for million dollar prototypes, so I guess they are somewhat respectible. I just dont trust people from previous experience.

I would think that it would run about a grand, give or take, for door to door service with an enclosed carrier.

I had to ship some vehicles from socal to detroit a few weeks ago for work..and it cost significantly more, but they only had a couple days notice. The more flexible you are with time...the lower the price goes.

motoracer,

I had to go to Oregon to get my 03' Lightning. Try there, NV or AZ. Shipping was $350. The dealership was courtesy Ford in Portland and the internet sales manager is Donna Gracie.

She might remember me, might not. Super nice and highly recomended.

I couldn't find any dealer in California to even sell a Lightning at msrp! Went to Pioneer Ford (who accepts X-Plan) and bought mine. They also included delivery; I opted to fly in and drive it home. They paid for the airfare. I did not get X-plan (no pin#), but got what I felt was a good deal. Nice people.

You can reach Kristin at kheffern@unitedauto.com for more info.
