IRP this week ... Who's Going ???

Other than "Fast Robert", who else is gonna be there?

I heard that unlike Putnam, IRP has lots of nice concrete
walls to jump in front of your truck. I prefer the wide
open spaces to go off-roading in, but if we back off the
edge we should be safe, huh?

Where are y'all staying?

Let's do lots of

Cliff

gratuitous imagery..

Cliff,

Concrete is present. Saw the aftermath of a Cobra that went into turn 5 (see image below) too early and kissed the fence with the right rear.

If memory serves me correct, Turns 5 and 15 present exposed concrete. Of course, both sides of the drag strip are lined appropriately.

Watch for the haybales exiting 15 and uneven surface there at the drag strip launch area. 12 always seemed slippery.

1 and 2 can be taken WFO, just tap brake to set the front and trust it

I have never been around there in a truck(crash truck once). Might be alittle different than a motorcycle

Dammit!!

Without being too direct.

Haul your Sparco aspiring keister down to to Indy and learn to drive what you got THEN upgrade it. You'll be faster next time.

Daniel,

As Road Rash mentioned, turns one and two are FUN (~ 90-95 mph on F1's). Not quite wide open in a truck but on a bike, hay'll yeah...

need SOMETHING to do at night !!! LOL

they say in France !!!
