Long tube headers

Is it possible to put Lt's on the stock exhaust system. If so how would it sound?

Not sure what you mean by the stock exhaust system, but if you mean leaving the OE cat-back system on; then yes, you can do that with our "cat-forward" set up. This consists of long tube headers, high flow cats, midpipes, O2 extenders, and all applicable mounting hardware.

I actually did this 3 years ago, with different l/tubes (CFH). I had the l/ts, no cats, and the stock muffler. It was a unique sound that no one else around had. Quite aggressive at WOT, yet not too loud at cruise. It did, however, reverberate alot in the cab.

You can put longtubes with the factory cat-back; you can't put long tubes on the factory mid-pipe/cat converter setup because they end up way past the stock mid-opipe inlets. They do make a shorty headers that directly replaces the cast manifolds, but you give up most of the torque advantage of the lt's.

I did not like the sound of LT's, hi-flow cats, and the stock cat-back. Changed the tone to what could be best described as a "boat" sound.
