This is what chevy needs

It took that much excess to make something as fast as a stock L with a couple bolt ons. Lession to people out there who think AWD would help our trucks. Notice the 1000 pounds and the low time of what would be a 10 second lightning with that motor.

Very cool though. Pimp at that price too.

I think is very cool, 125K no, I'd do there vett before I'd do this but 700hp in a Caddy is alright by me. I wonder what they would charge to do an L' with twin turbos?

700 hp at 5200 rpm and 740 pound-feet at 4600 rpm.

12.7@ 106 ?? Hell gimme a Harley and 10 grand and I know I will be in the 11's with a Built motor and KB Boost. Im still under the base price of Tupperware(Nickname for Caddy/Avalanche) Im sorry but that vehicle is Pure Stupidity, I bet I could con Ford outta the Concept 04 Lightning for that price.

Just my opinions but to each his own

It's a unique one of a kind vehicle and isn't realistic to compare it to a production vehicle. I could take a fox body Mustang and make it faster than most any Lightning for less money than what it would take to get the Lightning super fast, but that's not the point. Now is the Escalade worth it? Not to me, but there will be some rich guy come along that will relish the idea of having something unique.

Well said Not really my idea of a vehicle that should cost $120k, but there will be somebody out there that likes it. Same with our Lightnings... we all love them, but some people cringe when they hear "sports" and "truck" in the same sentence. Although we don't have to pay more than a house to get an L... unless the dealer REALLY took you through the cleaners.
