Aftermarket hood.

I know the horse is dead but I can't find the thread about aftermarket hoods. I really like the look of the cobra hood, but I wanna hear from folks who have installed their hoods. I wanna hear which kit is the easiest or most complet without being a complete waste of time.

I have the Cervinis ram air hood. It was fairly easy to install.

My cervinis was a very easy install. I have heard about people having to space between the hood latch but mine was perfect on my truck. Went out and took you a pic but im at my lake house and the sprinklers are on so the truck is wet in the pic

Anybody tried any of these hoods? One of them looks a lot like the Pro Glass that **** has. Another is an SVO style ram-air hood. If so, hows the fit and finish?

Hey Odin, be very careful of that company. The quality is absolutely terrible.

Some of us got Cobra R hoods for our Cobras when ford began to sell them. Unfortunately, some didnt want to pay the $$ for the geniune thing, but instread bought the copies from ABC and other companies.

They may have saved $250 - $400 of the price, but they took that money they saved and put it right into the prep of the hood because the quality is so poor. After all was said and done, they still had a wavey hood. Just an FYI

Thanks ****, I'm having trouble finding a hood I like enough to pay 600-800 bucks for. The Cervini's is nice; but, it's been done to death. That SVO style hood is just the ticket. If the quality is that bad though, I'll just keep looking. I'd pay a higher price for that hood if the quality was there.

I seem to like the SS 150 style hood the best. But it looks as though it won't work with my 03 airbox. It shows an adapter, but my airbox doesn't look anything like what they show.
