103 mm mass air

Trying out REMs , new 103mm mass air....Truck is still adjusting to it but I feel a noticeable power increase upstairs...idle characteristics are excellent along with driveability...truck just seems to pull quite better all around.......

Was your tune changed/modified at all to accomodate the larger diameter MAF? If not, how rich were you running before with the factory 90mm MAF?

IC has straight distilled water and royal purple coolant additive....works the best......
tune was not changed for mass air....was running very fat before...might need to check a/f now...am putting in 20% more fuel up to 4000 rpm in mafterburner......but theres no way I can max out the mass air now...

promodlightning : Stupid question, But what are the benefits of runnnig the IC that way! Does it make it run cooler?? If so (I assume) helps a little bit in performance. Every little .001 counts.

It definately makes it run cooler...water cools the best, period....all antifreeze does is keeps water from freezing and corrosion protection...but by me adding a bottle of Royal Purple water wetter I get the best of both worlds...if your in freezing weather I would add a small percentage of antifreeze 25% and water wetter as far as corrosion protection, you dont need it because your not dealing with iron or any type of gasses....AND THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A TOO COOL INTERCOOLER.....
