I moved with the L once. Had two 15 inch PA-type speakers, computers, bed, furniture, tools, etc. in the bed.

I have had as much as 1700 lbs. of flooring in mine and run 85 mph on the highway on the way home. But the great thing is the brakes.

I used mine for a dump run last week, I should have snapped a picture. Rented a trailer from U-Haul and loaded it and the L with 1700lbs

2 yards of bark dust, Tonnue cover wouldnt fasten over the top but just flipping it back over the top kept most in. Then I went back and got 1 more put the cover all the way over and left it in there for 3 day's. For some reason by the time I shoveled it out it had all shifted to the tailgate end. Hmmm wonder how that happened?
