Explain what you have done. Have you welded an angle pipe in front of the cats? If so how do you cap it.

If you were to remove the cats (even at the track) it would seem like you could run a higher octane fuel and not worry if it was leaded.
I see you are in Nashville. Will be coming up there on the 31st for the weekend.

I am very interested to understand your setup since you have actually dynoed before and afterwards.
Thanks for any help.

teamSLS,
I looked at the pictures on cpeapea's site. Is your setup similar?

What day and times do they do test and tune?

cpeapea,

Why did you take the electric plates off? Were they not operating everytime?

I would like some just to scare the pi$$ outta the minivan next to me with some soccer mom talking on her cell phone with the windows down at a stoplight. I would edge forward just a little so my pipes are aiming right at her window.

I do that with my straight pipes and did it to my buddy in his Eclipse GS with fartpipe. He said my revs reverbed in his car and sounded crazy!

My Chevy friends reported that the electrics when used on a dual
muffler setup got outta sync quite easily.... They suggested buying
two kits ...

Magnaflow with Dynatech headers, mid pipes, and high flow cats will wake the dead when at WOT. Their was some bitch in car ahead of me. She decided to read her road map 4 car lengths behind the car in front of her. Then she'd creep forward ever so slowly. Then stop and repeat again. I put it in neutral and gave it a small WAP of throttle. She jumped out of her seat. Literally. It has to be the funniest thing that I've ever seen.

They can't really get out of sync since we tie both sensors to one LED. Thus, they both have to be opened or closed before the LED lights. The gearboxes are the same speed as are the motors. Plus, if one gets to the positive stop before the other, the circuitry is such that it would wait for the other one anyway.

I can't say the same for the others out on the market though. Mine are designed from the get go as a true dual setup, thus you have a true left and right side. I suspect it is a rumor set about by the competition.

The only thing I'm worried about here is getting a code if you are using cut-outs before the cats. Do you need mil elimns with this setup?

yea i have eliminators or o2 sims as some would call them. you can also get your chip burnt to not read the rear o2s as well. i did not like those plates as they do leak and they were very unreliable. some times they would stick open...not good
