Pulley size question, which one
Pulley size question, which one
I am considering a larger pulley as soon as the predator is released.
Would it be better to go with a 5 lber and a very safe tune or a 3 lber and a more radical tune.
Also if I go with the 5 lber I was thinking of having the shift points and the rev limit lowered quite a bit to not over spin the s.c.
Any suggestions on what a good safe r.p.m. limit would be.
Thanks

A 'radical tune' usually leads to a potentially lean condition- NOT worth it. Rather sacrifice 20-30 hp with a really safe tune than a blown motor.
Also- 'radical tune' should only be done on a dyno with an experienced tuner...
my 2 cents...
Lower the shift points is something most will not talk about; but something I plan to do. Our torque curve changes a lot when adding boost. A
for lowring the shift points... you've been doing your homework.Read this : http://www.timskelton.com
