Upper Vs. Lower Pulleys...Which is Better?

Hey guys,

I bought an upper pulley from a friend which would be around 11-12 total p.s.i if I install it. Now, I was wondering if I should forget putting this upper pulley on and just go with a 4#-5# lower pulley instead w/ the stock pulley. If I do put the new upper pulley on and add a 2# lower pulley, will this be too much power for the engine and cause it to blow up? Any suggestions?

Upper is a real pain in the a$$ if you don't have the tool to remove the factory one. The lower one is much easier, but requires you to put a small piece of metal to lock the engine from turning when you pull off the old bolt.

Anything bigger than 3 or 4# more boost, I would get a chip or reburn.
