loud "clank" when turning

HEY:

New L owner here...When my wheel is turned all the way to the right I here a "clank" during low speed turns. The dealer said that there was nothing wrong with it. It is still under warranty for 9 months, any ideas?

Thanks
Miguel

If you do a search for the word "clunk", you will get a ton of threads. I dont have first hand experience with this but I believe a set of Herbs Washers will solve the problem. The dealers have a tendency to just grease the fittings up which remedies it for a short time but it is not a lasting fix. Someone will problem chime in with the exacts. Peace!

On my 01 the washers did not fix the clunk you are talking about. Grease the wheel stops (where the caliper mounts if I remember correctly). A dab of grease instantly stopped the clunk for anbout 1000 miles.
