Rear truck EMBLEMS

I'm interested in the emblems others have displayed on their L's.
I'd like to incorporate a stock "LIGHTNING" emblem onto the back of my '03 L somehow. Would be interested in knowing how and seeing pics if possible of the back of your L and it's emblems. (Oh, I have an extra new in the bag LIGHTNING emblem for sale if anyone is interested) Bill in NY

Now I just either want to get the red ford emblem or the overlay that says "Fast" on the other side. I can't decide. Anyone with the red badge no if it matches perfectly??

LIGHTNING as a rear truck emblem

Well, I removed the SVT F150 emblem from the back of my '03 L.
Replaced it with a factory/stock/Ford "Lightning" emblem like on the front sides of the truck. Anyway, looks good. Change over was easy, easy..
Anyone inerested in obtaining a factory "Lightning" emblem (new in wrapper) contact me and I will let you have the extra one I have cheap. Bill in NY

Does anyone know if the "SVTF150" or "Lightning" emblem will cover the depression under the Ford oval? If so, that would be one way of having both emblems on the rear.

I recieved the Fast emblem the other day.

When putting the Lightning emblem over the SVTF150 how did you do it. Just pull the old and glue on the new one. Or does it require filling and painting to get it right?

You heat the emblem with a hairdryer or heat gun. Careful not to much heat! Once heated the glue that attachs the emblem gets soft and releases enough so that you can gently pull the emblem off. Now clean up the remaining glue on your paint. After glue is removed, wipe the area where the new emblem will reside with alcohol and let dry. Gently heat up the surface a little bit, and press the new emblem into place. (the new emblem has a very good glue strip on it) No, no filling necessary nor paint work. The old emblem comes off easily and the new one goes on very easily. The new emblem has small plastic pins built on to it that fit the existing holes in your L exactly. The holes that were made for Ford for the SVT_F150 emblem that also has the plastic pins are also perfect for the LIGHTNING emblem. SO, any takers on that extra Lightning emblem I have?

In my opinion having both the SVT_F150 emblem, the Ford emblem AND the Lightning emblem would be way to much back there in my opinion.

Actually, I was considering eliminating the Ford emblem and replacing it with say the SVT emblem (if it covers the depression) and the Lightning emblem where the SVT emblem resides.

Can't look tonight but I will let you know tomorrow if the LIGHTNING emblem or SVT_F150 will cover over / hide the Ford
depression. I have both emblems to check with IN THE DAYLIGHT.
By the way, both the LIGHTNING and SVT_F150 together back there would be to much in my opinion..
