Talking Car Show Pics

Took the Lightning to a car show in Rochester, MN this Saturday. Perfect weather; lots great cars (and chicks).

Thought you guys might be interested in some pics; if you have questions on any of the cars here, just ask...seems I talked to just about everyone there.

Enjoy!

The Gen'l Lee was really nicely done! Car was in great shape the owner tried to make it as exact as possible, down to the horn that played Dixie! It had a 440 4-bbl in it; great paint.

He was right behind my Lightning, so we got to talk. We both kinda commiserated about how kids today mostly don't have a clue about who the Duke Boys were (or Daisy!). But, he did get lots of kids who apparently had been watching the reruns.

RE: Gen'l Lee. No, doors not welded.

RE: Cuda. The guy had a whole scrapbook on it; had an ad from Hemmmings in 1993, listing it for $55,000. He bought it in Texas...not sure of price, but has to be worth $125,000. It was just totally perfect; 15, 600 miles on it.

List price new was $3900.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
