Unhappy

On Ebay you can get the 2 sides and the rear SVT logo for $65.00 with shipping included. Dang I had to pay closer to $30,000 but they threw in a free truck! Tim.

that actually looks pretty good, but they shouldn't have used L badges

Check out the cheapa$$ I saw at a car show this weekend.

Oh it was a "Special Vehicle" all right. It was a base XL 150 with a nice set of hydros on it.

If you want a good laugh, go roam the California Chapter Gallery at Ford Truck World. You will see all kinds of trucks/suv's sporting SVT and Lightning paraphernalia.

Yea there are posers everywhere. i just got back from a cruise and while i was on the small island of Key West, walking throught the streets at night on the way back to the ship, i saw a white extended cab f150 with 20" chrome rims and dualed out the back with a full L decal kit on it. not dropped or anything. it even still had the gold trim around the wheel wells. i was really wishing i had my L at that moment so i could roll up to him. I had major withdrawals from my truck while i was gone . . .good to be back and driving it again.

What's funny about that last link was that COBRA owners were telling him "nice truck." If a mustang owner came on here with his V6 badged as a Cobra, we'd tell him to -F- off.
How come it seems that lightning owners all know what a Cobra is, but Cobra owners never seem to know what a Lightning is? I've noticed that on the street. We'll roll up to an L in my friend's 97 Cobra Convertable, and they'll always give us the
But when I roll up to a Cobra in my Lightning, all I get is a blank look.
I guess the average Cobra owner just knows he's driving a "fast mustang", and knows nothing else about SVT.
Ah well.

-PS:: That body kit looked really good in the promo picture. Too bad he had to put the badges on it.
