I try and do all my mods in the cold months,
mostly because thats the only time the tuners are around

Besides summers all about vacation, pool time, vacation, more pool time, and lots of +

I agree winter is the ideal time for mods. I had a big winter myself:

Gut interior
lay down 100 sq ft of sound deadening material
install expy overhead console (not a direct bolt on, lol)
run new wiring for stereo
put in new carpet
install new amps and capacitor
install floor console
install bucket seats
install new subs and sub box
install new speakers
install new deck
put on a Billet Throttle body
put in my Plasma Booster

All the summer stuff only took a hour here and there. No downtime for me
