Yo Fast Gator...

Hey Gator,

I'm seriously considering a set of Boyds Smoothies for my '03. I prefer a polished wheel due to the lack of chrome on the truck itself. Searched high and low for American Racing Torque Thrusts to no avail in proper fitment. Liked the gray center with machined rim on those to compliment the DSG paint. Cheapest I've found the Boyds for is $1194 for a set of four 18 x 9" with lugs, free shipping. Sound like a fair price? Have you gotten your Foose Spanks yet? Have yet to make the Jersey trip this year. Most likely will sometime next month.

Later,
FX

Hey Buddy

How's it going? Since I've managed to curb every flucking rim, I've decided to hold off until I make some improvments in my driveway. Its narrow and got river rock on both sides

Spent the wheel money re wiring my house......its an on going project that just growing day by day. Was at the local Home Depot a couple of weeks ago and they had the ceiling fan that I bought for the kitchen ($99.95) on sale for $51.00. So not being able to walk away from a deal, I bought 5 more in different trim colors (brass vs white) Since the house was built in 1920 there was no ceiling outlets. So that meant busting holes in the ceiling (plaster) to put up boxes and run wiring. I also decided to do the ceiling with 1/2" Dow Super Tuff-R polyisocyanurate insulation along with sheet rock...............see where this is going????????hahahahaha

That sounds like a great price for the wheels and I know those Boyds are great looking wheels. I think the wheels will wait until after I do the motor in my truck, but that can change like the wind Send me a pic of your truck when you get those bad boys on.

Take care and see ya later

Thanks for the quick reply. I know what you're dealing with regarding the house. Ours was built in 1898 so I'm dealing with the same crap. The House and garage eat up all of our money as well. One of the advantages of living here is the lack of curbs.
My driveway is around 38 x 68' so it's pretty hard to miss. Right now the back half is piled full of three cubes of landscape block and the remainder of the 500 some odd feet of six foot vinyl grudge fence panels and posts. 350 feet up and 150' to go. Tired of putting up with the slobs living around me and their landfill looking yards. Sure do miss my old place out in the woods. Couldn't hit the closest neighbor with a rock! Could step out on the back porch and let fly with the .45 and pee in my yard at will. The sacrifices you make to get the ingrate kids into a better school district. They wouldn't care if they lived in a damned trailer park! The old place was the bomb! Circa 1970 1500 sq.ft. ranch type w/ 2 car garage beneath, on 2 terraced acres secluded by a heavily wooded enbankment. Couldn't see it from the road unless you knew it was there and were looking for it. Enough about that, I'm getting depressed! Well I'm off to lay some granite flagstone around a fountain pond in Wifeys posie garden. I'll make the Jersey trip yet!
Later Gator

Awhhhhh...........vinyl fencing. Thats going to be on of my moves. But with the amount of fencing you have, you could go around my house/lot 3 times

Yeah, I pee in the back yard all the time, trouble is the next door neighbor is about 45 ft away. I did let lose with the Ruger .357 on the fourth. But I think the guy behind me had some C-4

Let me know when you make that Jersey trip..........See ya
