Where to get polished upper intake plenum?

I saw the guy on ebay that offers a polished upper intake plenum that has also been ported, but he wants 425.00 after an exchange of your original intake plenum. I saw one that was sold a long time ago on ebay for like 250.00 and that was a steal. Any ideas of another place I could pick one up and I am a lazy bum so no I am not doing it myself. I am also more interested in the bling factor than actual hp gains.

I believe that REM sells ported upper plenums and throttle bodies, but I don't think they are extrude honed. You may want to do a search on this. I've heard that there are not really very signifigant (if any) power gains with a ported plenum. I could be wrong though

Ported plenums DO give a boost in power when done correctly. Average H.P. on the dyno is 4-6 and torque is about 11 ft lbs. This is on a 4 lb pullied truck with cold air filter. BTW, that $425 includes a fully ported inside AND show polish outer! Polish alone is $250.Thats a deal.

In case you didn't notice his AOL email address (why...when you have teamjdm.com?), I bet it's packed full of spam and the "good" emails are buried deep inside.

Polished upper intake plenum - $65.00 at the local metal finishing shop in Phoenix that does all of the local hot rods and low riders...suffice it to say that his work is second to none.
