Something like that.

I'll be installing the 'shims' tomorrow. I'll post pics.

I think everyone is making it more difficult than it is.

It is 4 nuts that went to Atlantic City, got screwed and came home wearing barrels.

No shiming needed on my "home-made" drive-shaft loop either

I hear you guys about not having to retro fit the loops you bought, or made, Gator . I knew they would fit. Like I stated in my original post last month when I first installed it, it's a new product from Moroso/Comp Engineering. They have a good reputation. I liked the design/construction so I figured I'd give it a shot. I've run into some snags and the designer has been working with me to work them out and hopefully the shims will do the trick. If not, he told me to return it for a full refund. We shall see.

Dan, why are the spacers required on your truck? I have installed 4 CE loops now and all with different exhaust systems. What do you have that requires you to space the loop down so far?

The crossmember will hit the bottom of the Magnaflow without them. It needs to come down about 1 1/2" to clear. Have you installed one on a similar application?

Thanks,

Dan

No, no Magnaflows. Never did like that muffler, hangs down to far, has that bailing wire installation look from behind.

Can't say I disagree but it's done now. The tech said after speaking with me that he's going to include the shim kits with all orders in the future. Would have been nice to have them to begin with but what's done is done and I'm happy with the result.

Time for some

See ya'

Dan
