Question Best bolt on`s?

Lightning lands 31-07-03. Whats the best air intake to put on it and are the spacers for the thottle body any good. Spoke to Super chips to day here in U.K and they said they can chip it. I will dyno before and after mods.
Super Chips said their dyno was not physically big enough to fit a Lightning on so they could not say how much power. I however have had my big rig dyno`d previously, rang them - no problem up to 900hp. I don`t think I`ll reach that !
Any thoughts on my plans ?. Reluctent to go pully, not sure about fine tunning after. Reading various posts this can be fiddley to do for best set up. All info gladly accepted.

best air intake?

one that sucks the air from OUTSIDE the engine compartment.
I have an Airaid intake system and I suck all the HOT air that is in the engine compartment. <-- don't recommend it.

I think JLP sells on that has a tube that draws air either under or directly behind the front bumper. If not JLP, then someone other vendor.

Johnny Lightning Performance and Sal from Power Surge Performance sell a "true" air intake system that draws air from outside the hot engine bay, contact one of those guys for it.

Other then that go chip/pulley, some traction bars, bedrug

Hello L Brother in the UK, Why not deal with a vendor from the States, they deal with our trucks everyday and you prolly get better products.

JLP Ram air system, easy to install, draws partial outside air with a down tube.

Accufab single blade, very easy to install

Greg Evans valve body, a little more involved than an oil change, I recommend a deep pan with this mod

Bassani cat back, do it yourself in 1.5 hours

Out of all of my bolt ons, these are the best regarding seat of the pants feel, ease of install and sound of course.

Trak traction bars are great and simple, rear lowering shackles the same. Don't forget your drive shaft safety loop if you decide to really boost power.
