O3 with 1500 miles, PSP fast air kit and magnaflow cat back... mostly stock....

it was 87 degress out.

The best I could muster was a 14.05 at 98 miles an hour. 60 foot was 2 flat. Ran 7 times... had a bunch of 14.1's and one 14.2.

found best launch was driving around the water box and heating up the F1's a bit and launching at 1k rpms.

I was hoping to break into the 13's....... any tips on how to get my 60 foot times down.... air pressure in tires???? thanks Doug


On a side note another L guy was there, I believe his name is Arron. His first run was at the 14.00 area. He said the last time he was out he had a 13.7's all day...... Maybe the heat was just killing me.....

The 5.4L doesn't like heat, and neither does the supercharger.

My 5.4L runs like crud when its hot, but when its cool, it runs like a raped ape. When its hot, I can't even brake torque the tires to spin, even on ashphalt. Drop me to 60* F or below, and ill torch em, with glue on the tires.
