How to change injector?
How to change injector?
I think I need to change an injector, but I have no idea how to go about it, special tools, etc. The specific injector is #5. (Front drivers cylinder). Help appreciated!
Thanks,
Eric

There are 2 srews that hold the fuel line onto the intake manafold. Remove those 2 screws, and lift the fuel line. Unplug the injector, and pull it straight up and off.
Then reverse the procedure, Make sure all 4 of the injectors seat into the fuel rail when you push the fuel rail back onto the injectors.
A little bit od dialectric grease or silicone on the O ring will help it seat in and seal up.

I have a misfire/stumble.
Previous plug had crust on it a bit. When I pulled new plug, it was wet.
I changed coil pack, same problem. That's why I suspect injector. IS there a way for me to verify and say 'yep, it's the injector' before i spend the $100+ to replace it?

Swap injectors with an adjacent cylinder..
If the problem moves to the other cylinder, you've found the problem.. If the same plug is still wet, you have a different problem..
Also, make sure the O-Rings come out with the injectors... Sometimes they stick in the rails.
