Question Fuel system upgrades???

I need some help from you guys. I am gonna be running a Works when I get back to Hawaii and I need some help setting up a fuel system. I know that I am gonna need bigger injectors and fuel pumps. What I am confused on is the size of inectors to go with. I am thinking somewhere between 50 to 60 pound injectors should do it. Also, do I need to upgrade the lines to biggers ones or can I stay with stock. I have no problem running braided stainless lines if I have to. What about fuel rails?? I might need to upgrade those too. Sorry for so many questions but I am in the dark when it comes to fuel systems. Thanks in advance.

You will definitely need bigger rails. Get some Works rails from Sal. You'll also need bigger injectors. As far as I know, the largest high impedance injectors you can get are 55 lb./hr. I got mine from Allen Kennedy.

You'll also need a new regulator. Many people are using the Aeromotive. The Weldon is more expensive, but far fewer reported problems.

Next time I come over to visit my kid I'll have to look you up. Maybe we can all pay a visit to HRP.

Injectors and pumps should do it. There are trucks running in the 10's, actually mid 10's, with stock rails and lines.

If your going to stay under 24# of boost, alls you need is the High impedence 55# injectors (no one makes bigger than 55# high imped injectors), twin 255 lph fuel pumps and a Mafterburner fuel computer...this combo will adaquately supply you to well over 750 hp....as far as upgrading to billet fuel rails with Aeromotive pumps can be really expensive...Tim at REM is doing the whole fuel rail bit and I woulnt doubt it if he had over 4000 dollars jut in the pumps, lines, fittings, y-blocks, fuel cell and rails along with 78# injctors (wich need new injector driver) but I guess an additionl 3500.00 Accel dfi can fix that.......
