Thumbs up Swanson Kit and Crankcase Breather

I have been running the Swanson Kit in conjunction with my crankcase breather for 4,000 miles.

When having the head gasket leak fixed I asked them the clean out the intercooler and upper intake. My upper intake was coated with oil and running down to the throttle body.

This is the best shot I could get of the intake and T/B. It's still just as clean as the day I picked it up from the repair.

Are you talking about the breather that screws into oil filler on the passenger side? I have the Swanson also, but I had to remove my breather ,cause oil was coming out the filter. Is yours not doing this? I'm sure mine must be clean there's, no way to get in there!

Cool

Tim,

I've read where some people were having problems with oil coming out of the crankcase breather (oil filler) but I have no problems with it.

Do you still have you tube running from the driverside valve cover? My tube is still an open path to the rubber intake boot.

Yes, its still there. I guess thats like some trucks drink oil and some don't. Mine drinks it and Skankdog's doesn't use a drop. Go Fiqure!

My intake is clean and dry with Danny's kit. Lots of oil before the kit was installed. It stops the crankcase from being pressurized. I run a stock oil cap. Skip

yes just give them a call. When I ordered it wasn't on the web site either. Someone on this board informed me of their product. The kit is about $20 and they'll 2-3 Fed Ex it to your door for a grand toal of $30 shipping and all. Great kit. No complaints.
