Tonneau question

Tonneau question

Who has a factory tonneau cover and do you use the metal supports? I like the look without the braces, but wondering if the top will rip without them.

I would leave the supports in. If you took them out, it will sag. I like my stock cover quite a bit.

yeah, i have the factory one, and i use the supports, w/o them i think it will sag alittle and at high speeds it might rip something.

i love the factory one on how easy it is to put on and take off, i would hate if i had to button all those buttons....

Mine is starting to get two black lines on it from the supports. I wonder if it's to late to put some kind of dressing on it ?

mine has those same black lines, they go away when you put something on the cover. i used my tire wet stuff although i bet thats not good for the cover :-)
