Question about washing
I'm going to be washing and waxing my car tommorow with my new Cherry Wet Wax (should look great!) I need to know what to use for pre-wash, to strip the previous wax and such. I think it's Dawn Dishsoap...but what specific kind, does it matter?

Use lots of it in a bucket of fairly (not hot) warm water.
Did you get the Cherry Wet Wax from Rick at Coats Products? That's where I got mine and I also bought their wash and wax car wash concentrate and I like it too. It works great, and it smells like bubble gum. I would definately recommend it. I have been very happy with everything I have gotten from Coats Products.

yeah I got it from Rick at Coats products...along with a couple of their microfiber towels, a wax applicator or two, some of their car wash, and also their Miracle Mist which I hear is incredible. I'll definetly post some pics tommorow after I'm done with it. BTW, My truck is black, and I;ve heard Cherry Wet Wax does wonders on dark colors. We'll see soon enough...

Just make sure you don't even come close to the plastic trim with CWW.

Yeah, I'll steer clear of the plastic trim. I NEVER use a sponge to wash my car, always a towel, so that shouldn't be a problem. We'll see how it goes. BTW, customer service from Coats products was great, and they have some good deals. I highly recommend them for car detailing supplies
