What hood looks the best?

I put a nice dent in my hood during the holiday weekend, so this gives me an excuse to buy an aftermarket hood. Which hood do you think looks the best. If you have pictures, that would be helpful. Prices would be helpful too. Thanks.

John

in my opinion the 3" Harwood cowl hood looks mean as hell. do a search for harwood and you'll find an old thread that i made asking people to post pics of their hoods. alot of nice choices but i'm sold on Harwood. $400 for the hood, $200 for shipping, then you gotta paint it. good luck in your search!

I used to be a fan of the AAD Cobra Hood, but after seeing the New Pro-glass Cowl Hood (think **** has one)...man that thing is sweet looking, and the quality looks awesome.

Cowl hood all the way... nothing else seems to fit the front of the truck better. I personally don't care for the shaker or the AAD Cobra hoods... or the hoods with the two snouts in it... or the ram air hoods that belong on Pontiacs only... or the Lund stick on scoops - those are a good way to cheapen the value of the Lightning.

If I were doing a hood (mine is stock), I'd definitely go with a shaker.

I wish the shaker was about 4 inches wider and offered another 1.5" height over its max height.

I like like pro glass hoods, but chose the cowl for ease. I get into the engine bay to much to want to spend time lining that shaker back up.

I think I am leaning to the Cervini's or Pro Glass cowl. Who has the best prices on these hoods?

When I first saw them I thought the same thing but after I've thought about it and seen them more, he prolly decided on the smaller scoop so you didnt have to take it off each time to work on something...but I agree they do look a little small on the lightning's big body.
