Rattle in Dash Help !!!

I don't want to take it to the dealer. It sounds like it's between the radio and the glove compartment. It only makes the noise at TIP in going forward not in reverse. I took half the dash apart and could not find it. It sounds like it's deep inside toward the fire wall (i checked the engine compartmet to) It sounds like an old rusted creaking gate. HELP IT"S DRIVING NUTS !!

The rattle is your heater core, my friend had same problem, as waterpump speeds up it creates turbulance in heater core...you can verify this by bringing your engine to 1500 rpm by manually turning it up under your hood and take a pair of pliers and squeeze either of the heater hoses on the passenger side firewall by your injector rails and watch the noise go away as soon as you can verify that it is the heater, go to hardware store and get a high temp pcv barbed ball-valve , cut hose and install inline and gradually turn ball valve until noise goes away, but do not fully close else you will lose your heater.....

The Fix ...... i took my truck to my local dealer, i wasen't very confident they would find the fix (the creaking noise was deep inside the dash some where).
They found it !! it was .... "spot weld at floor pan to fire wall" hats off to Towne Ford in Redwood City, CA.

None ..... to my surprise (and believe me i checked), they didn't even leave the garage. All you had to do was tap the gas (with foot on break) and it would make the noise.
