Best solution to level out the Roush? Performace loss at all?

I would like to have the same wheel well gap on the rear as I do on the front-- So whats the best shackle or solution? Does this degrade or increase the performance?

Thanks

Some have used one of the middle holes in the 2 inch shackles to level it off a bit. Just don't use the full 2 inch drop from the shackle or your rear will slouch a bit (compared to the front).

Wait, no middle hole on a 2 inch shackle or are you talking about your stock ones? I know Belltech shackles have a lot of holes (at least 3 or 4 I think) and my DJM ones have a couple too.

I have the stock shackles with roush suspension--- so what shackles would you recommend?

Some 2 inch drop shackles. Doesn't really matter which ones. I have the DJM that I bought for 30 bucks from www.stylinconcepts.com. However, I think the Belltech ones have more holes for you to "dial in" your rear drop but I don't know how big of a difference it will make.

I personally would go with the Belltech just for the added holes and piece of mind. Only about a 10-20 dollar difference.

If you do lower it you will probably hit hard on the bumpstops.

I had to abandon my 1" drop (Center hole) and go back to stock
to clear up the bump problem.

I install the roush springs with the 2" inch shakles and I used the bottom most hole (1" drop). It could stand to be a touch lower in the back but I think I'm going to leave it for now. I have not had it hit the bumpstops yet, I've even tried (railroad crossings, speedbumps, etc) I still have stock shocks and I am very happy with ride. I'll find out about the handling the 25th at the IRP STVOA event.
