What do you think about these lowering springs

http://www.truckn-store.com/product....t.asp&ID=24018

The price is great, but i dont know what the pring rate is. I was gonna order the Ruslow's on monday, but i may go with these. Also is sport truck direct the only place to purchase the Dostech shocks. The reason im asking is their shipping charges are ridiculous. I seen them in summitt, but i need the 4069g's and they dont list them.

No-name springs versus Stan's proven design? I wouldn't do it. I bet that the vendor doesn't even know what a spring rate is, much less the spring rate of the springs shown.

Stan's springs are very reasonably priced and he can customize them to your needs.

It's hard to remember: www.ruslow.com

It has been down for a little while, though. Check in with Stan at NLOC.

Reason I ask is because at 15,500 miles, my front pads are gone. Along with the pads being gone, my rotors are pretty shot, and have cracks in them. I figured maybe I should upgrade the rotors, and heard that Stan's rotors are cheaper than getting new OEM ones. Anyone have any idea how much it is for new rotors from Stan?

Jeez you must do some late braking in the corners!

I should check my pads soon too.

I do like to have fun sometime.... HEEHEE. First set of tires lasted about 12,000 miles... brake pads at 15,000... gotta have fun somehow! I'd much rather be putting my money into my truck, than be buying drugs like 1/2 my friends...

You only got 12k out of your F1s?

Did you participate in a burn out contest weekly?

stang,

Call Stan first and ask a few questions then call the alternate and ask the same thing.

Hope this helps.

Taxx,

If you're still planning on running at IRP in a couple of weeks, it would be wise to spring for some new pads.

Paying the $$, not passing tech, and/or losing the brakes at 90+ mph could be painful, literally.

Bob
