Here's my new case. That larger case will get stuffed with even better internals:

And there will be another 17 inch LCD (Samsung 170s) to go along with my current one.

Why not go the cheaper route and hook a 2 Port Kvm switch up?

Laziness. I may get another 15 inch LCD for my backup data server.

I use a 16 port KVM by Black Box.

You really have to buy the higher end models so you dont lose visual quality to your monitors.

I have rebadged Sony G400's by Dell along with 2 Dell 18" FP1800 Flat screens. Ask Speedin Bob what he thinks of those FP1800's i hooked up on

I havent seen any change in quality I run a radian 9000 pro 128 with a 19 inch VS Lcd. Only problem I ever run into is Finding a good battery back up that will support the power i draw and failing hds from time to time. but that has nothing to do with the kvm.

Monitors...

**** and I think alike...

I have a 21" CRT for my primary display
a 18" LCD on the left with a KVM switch to a TV
a 18" LCD on the right with a KVM to my data server

So my main machine runs three monitors most of the time, but I can watch TV or check on the server if I want to.

And yes, if you are going to use a KVM get a real one. Pretty much anything with digital switching is OK (not good). If you're a freak (or testing like me) it'll cost you $3,000 for a good 8 way KVM.
