Perhaps they use a Mustang dyno, which reads significantly lower than a Dynojet.

But at any rate, even if they use a mouse in a wheel, so long as proper before-and-after testing was done, the results are valid.

Magnaflow

I have had a Magnaflow cat-back on for one week and about 400 miles. I got it from Larry at SBD, who is one of the nicest guys that you will ever meet. His shop is bitchen. The fit and finish are excellent. The tips fit perfect in the opening. This system is pretty loud inside the cab at frwy speeds. I don't know if I would call it a drone or just an under load sound. Sounds great driving around town and under acceleration. Pretty loud at full throttle, but kind of a good loud. It almost covers up my blower whine. Power? That is hard to say. It feels like it might of lost a little bottom end and maybe added a slight bit of power at the upper rpm range. The bottom end loss could be because it lets the engine breathe better, resulting in a slight reduction in boost. I can easily fix that with a quarter inch reduction on my K/B pulley. Probably should of dynoed it before and after. If you are buying it for looks and a louder sound, I am sure that you will be more than happy. If you are buying it for horsepower I really do not feel that it makes much more that the Ford sustem. At the $310 that Larry sells them for they are worth it on looks and tip fit alone. Hell, the talk that I had with Larry and seeing his beyond bitchen shop was worth more than the price of the Magnaflow. Kind of gives our trucks a street rod sound and look. Skip

Larry's Shop

Makes me want to burn down my garage and start over. Wow. I hope the Magnaflow does not get too much louder. It does seem quieter the more that I drive it. Skip

This system (the magnaflow 15714) comes with a single, twin I/O muffler. It has an internal crossover.

I believe the JDM Silver Bullet uses 2 magnapack mufflers. This setup sounds similar, except a little more low and bassy. Sounds perfect for this truck.
