Zex is in and almost ready to be armed!

I finished installing the entire kit. Now I need to swap plugs, and get the bottle filled for the go! Heres some pics.

Needs to be cleaned up quite a bit, but its in there!

Sometimes I hate myself for keeping this warranty.

Looks sweet bro but i think you need to point that bottle vertical.

Interesting place to put the purge

Hey, are you sure that column shifter won't block your nitrous switches when in drive? Just looking out for ya bro...

Flying ****: In the Zex install directions, it shows a couple different diagrams. It says placing it like that should be fine. Do you think it will make a really big difference if I change the mount?

cyntaxx: Got the switches covered. It doesn't hit it at all...

Mike, ive seen so many nitrous setups and they are point vetical. Just never seen it horizontal. I wonder how the syphone tube can pick up nitrous thats sloshing up against the side of the bottle under acceleration is all.

Though not ideal, it can work just fine that way. The main thing is that the sticker is facing up, and the bottle is at an angle. I've seen setups where the bottle is standing straight up, 90* angle......

Mike, very nice!!! I call a ride, and this thing is definetly coming to the track sometime soon. What jets ya running, 75?

You should rotate the bottle to have the top of the bottle faceing forward. You'll get a more consistant flow when the bottle runs low.

You can call rides... 30$ a ride (3$ a lb... ) ... anyway... as I saw in the Zex directions, this bottle mount is just fine. I just need to swap plugs and im ready to go. The plugs I got from Paul, I did some research and some people have had some problems with them. Im going to give Paul a call when I have time, that way I can get the right plugs and put them in.... then put the juice on go and hail a$$!

I've heard the pressure gauge isn't as accurate if the bottle is positioned horizontally. Again this may just be speculation from another source but I thought I'd bring it up.

Looks AWSOME

real clean install! i like it. how much did everything cost?

I wish I had the ballz to run nitrous. I just don't have the time to mess around with it. I'm about maxed out with my current mods. 4# lower and 2.80 upper. some say there is room for a 50 shot...

But a 50 shot I dont think is worth my time and money and
and I know for sure even a 75 shot would push me over the edge. (to built motorville) Sure would be fun doing it!
again, looks real nice, Shane

The Zex kit is a very clean install kit. Looks similar to the Zex install I did a little while ago. I just hid the wires and the purge a little more.
