Question Lightning Stereo System

Hey everyone! Question for those with subs in their Lightning. Has anyone installed their stereo system WITHOUT DynaMat?? If so, does it rattle the truck when you hear it on the outside? I want to put in my system but debating on whether to putin DynaMat or not. Please Help!

I would say that if you can afford it go with the dynamat. It's not a must but you will be kicking yourself when you hear a system with dynamat installed knowing you could have it as well. It will deffinitely improve the sound quality of your system!

Where should I have DynaMat put in? I was thinkin just the doors and maybe just the area behind the seats.

One place it does rattle for sure is the sunglasses compartment. I fixed this easy by just stuffing a small folded washcloth in there...no more rattles.

I would do doors, floor, headliner, 2 or 3 layers on the back wall....

If you're going to dynamat...do it right the first time. No point in tearing up carpet everytime you want to add another piece/layer...
