well after the installtion of the 6lb chip and pulley i still want a litte bit more, so ive decided to go with nitrous....probably a 100 shot for those "special occasions" as the veterans say around here, when i will meet up with an unsuspecting z06 or viper. so what brands are you guys running and what do i need to look out for? thanks for the help guys!.......man i love this truck

 

Next time you're at REM just get a ZEX kit.

 

My vote goes towards Zex.

 

i vote for built motor unless you like to polish your rods when they are laying in the road. BTW im fixing to put a 25 or 30 shot of Zex on my truck but this is on top of a 4lb pulley though.

I hear ya on wanting the spray for the special occasion. My brother in law has a z06 and im determind to beat him.. I just purchased a flip chip and juice.

is there room in the cab to mount the nitrous bottle?....i dont really want toput it in the bed because my bed is openquite a bit because i put my motorcycle back there and some other stuff.....center floorboard maybe?let me know

 

you can mount it behind your seat. you will have to mount it length wise and take out your stoarge box. look on zex's website. You need to adjust the bottle where the syphon tube is aligned. 50 shot is ok to start with. really won't see much from a 30 but cooling the intake. And I heard the best way to go is a dry kit because of that problem where we have the oil sitting by the intercooler. I'll be posting pics of my setup shortly.
