Cool

I've been sitting in the dark showdows watching this issue for a while. But I wanna learn more before I make a purchase.

REM has a good price vs quality. And Gregg Evans at factory tech is working on some refining.

I'd look into these:

One of these is in my Monster Box. These guys are very Lightning friendly, and they will build you a converter to any specs you want (within reason). Cool people to deal with, and Gregg tells me that their unit appears to be of high quality. Give them a call, what would it hurt?

I have a PI 2600 stall teamed up with my monster in a box

I have to say it's an awesome setup

Streetability is great and i get schitty 1.7 60's at the ****tiest track in the US of A Capital dragway where they put down NO VHT.

all right i have driven a lot of street rods, from a 500 horse 31 5 window with a c4 and a 3000 stall to a 89 mustang with a 2200 stal,
now i drive my truck everyday and it is the stock trany with 47,000 miles on it and i think anything from 24-2600 is good enough for a daily driver in this truck, now since it is a stock trany should i get a valve body also, and i looking to spend beteen 400-600- if possible
and here are my mods
00 lightning
5lb lower
diablo chip tuned by jlp
single blade tb
jlp air box

latter will add 90mm mass air heat exchanger, and e-fan heaqdders exhaust mabe a monster box but this is all in the future i am more worried about reliabilty of the stock trany?

honestly i would wait til i got the Monster box. that way you kill 2 birds with 1 stone. But it's up to you. Both i'm sure are quality units but i have only tried the PI so i can't speak for the Art Carr. Mine is a 2600 and i love it. Great streetability and i spin em through 1st, 2nd and 3rd. From a 30mph roll if i nail it i'll go sideways

The PI gets a huge in my opinion.
