E/T streets on the street ?
A couple guys around here run them to/from the track. But I won't run mine like that. It's just NOT a street tire. It's a street *legal* tire.
Besides, on the street a DR would be just as effective (within reason), last longer, and act like a radial street tire should.

I have before and they pretty much suck as a street tire. They don't handle curves very well and ride rough. I only drove them on the street on my way too and from the local street races. However they hook up extremely well on the street. With no burnout I could launch at 1200 rpm's and get no wheelspin at all.
I ran my hoosier dots this wekend on the street. I probably put about 400 miles on them. I don't go to fast and try not to get stuck in the rain. I had to drive to work in the rain on them Monday. I could go 40 mph but that was it. I remember when I got stuck in the rain with my et streets a couple of years ago and I could only go 10-15 mph with out sliding around...
When I had a NX kit on my GT, I once ran around for about 2 months with ET Streets on...being EXTREMELY careful when it rained. You had literally no traction. But that was the only way I could get traction on the street while spraying and having 4.10 gears. No drag radial would ever cut the mustard with that combo. I don't really street race anymore...too much at stake for a quick run. They're good and can be very effective as long as you understand what your limits are.
