Brake upgrade

IF you get new brakes all the way around(rotor, caliper,etc..) like the brembo set, do you need to redue the proportioning(sp?) valve or get a different master cylinder?

You shouldn't need to. But I am unaware of any rear Brembos.

Stop Tech hints that big front brakes can increase stopping distances by causing the rears to have to work too hard.

With Brembos up front, I have not noticed any front or rear bias problems. The rear pads may be wearing quicker than normal, though. I can't tell because I put the Brembos on when the truck was almost new, but some people have reported very high miles on rear pads versus front. Mine will be shot by 10-12,000 miles (some hardcore track time in there, though). The stock front Brembo pads are nowhere near gone.
