8 pound pulley...
HEY YELLER!
I bought a 8lb and afterwards everyone on here convinced me that it wasnt a good idea b/c I drive mine everyday so I went with the 6. If you want to try the 8# I still have mine. Its a brand new, never installed Johnny Lightning. Retailed for $275, I'll sale it to you VERY cheap if you want to have a cheap way to decide which pulley youd rather have. I'm sick of looking @ the thing collecting dust on the shelf in the garage! Hate to try to sale something on the board but this might be a cheap way to help you out and get it off my hands both. e-mail me if your interested. NOCTRNALMEDIC@CS.COM
I run a 8#er and agree about the heat! I also have a 1.5# upper
(RR ultra grip) and my last dyno proved to me that the heat kills the benifits of my boost!
Im going to be putting a 75 shot (to start) it and re dyno it to see what the cooling will produce!
BTW I have a built motor (JDM #31) and MB! Will be doing this within the next week Ill keep you all posted!

i would say, screw the no2 and buy an interchangeable lower pulley kit from LFP, it's actually a good product, buy the hub and pulley(6lb) for the cost of a normal pulley and then buy an 8lb ring for only $100 extra. then invest in a jlp powercooler like vinnie and be ok running the 8lb at the track and safe running the 6lb on the street ( fill the powercooler for the track)............ 8lbs with the cooler is not any harder than 6lbs without!
but save $$$ in the long run with the LFP interchangeable pulley and it only takes 10 mins with hand tools to change pulley sizes ( the hub stays on the motor and you just unscrew and rescrew 6 allen head bolts to swap rings
