Cool Back from FFW Richmond

Everyone,

We got back from Richmond about 10PM last night. The event was a blast!!! It was great to see everyone and meet some new people too...

As mentioned, Gamino won Tough Truck, a Ranger finished 2nd and Don C finished 3rd. I went out in the 2nd round with a .494 light...Ohh well...

Times were definitely slower than usual with that heat. It was unbearable!! MLNIUM went 11.00 at 121.xx, there were plenty others in the 11's as well: Kevin, Don, Nuno....... BlackJack was ohh so close at 12.06 on a breakout run.

On the good side, traction was awesome, check it out:

I have plenty of pics and videos that I will convert and post on a later date.

Congrats to the winners and all who attended!!!

I just made it home

Had to fix a bad water pump pulley, so go a late start home from NJ.

Then Blew out a tire and bent a rim about 5 minutes from JDM's shop. Had to drive 5 hours on a spare tire.

I have the worst luck with tires, and Vin yes it was the right rear again.

Even with that I had a great time, and will be back next year.

Thumbs up Thanks for the update

Brian,

Thanks for the update from FFW. Good to hear a good time was had by all. Nice wrinkles also Brian. Glad that in spite of the heat some good ET's were posted. Two thumbs up to Nuno aka Thunder Struck for his 11.80 run. Stock 60k block, 20's in the front, and still blasting off some great numbers. Many others with built motors and much more $$$ invested are trying to play catch up. I hope that someday the BTJ mobile will follow in those footsteps.

Don,

At least this time no one stole your spare.
See - your luck is getting better!
Hope to see you at Norwalk. Please E-mail me if you are not going to make it.
