Bad reception with chip?

I installed a diablo delta chip and 5lb pully from JLP last Fri. and now my radio is getting a lot of static on channels that it picked up fine before. Has anyone else had this problem? What is the solution? Thanks for any help.

Mine has tons of static as well. Stations do not come in clearly at all.... mine is a superchip though. I am not sure if the chip has anything to do with it. I took it to the dealer, and they saw that the radio worked fine in accesory mode, but when turned forward and the fuel pump came on, the static immediately appeared and reception went away. The dealer thinks it's interference with maybe the fuel pump. Should I pull the chip out and try that?? The dealer will get it in the shop once my new third brake light is here - got condensation in mine somehow.... Every light has been replaced on my truck for condensation...

does someone make a filter or cap to go inline with the power wire from your radio to suppress this interference???

another local L owner who has a JL delta chip with led and 10lb lower pulley has the interference in his radio. He has contacted Johnny a few times and Johnny sadi there was nothing he could do. My truck with a superchip flip chip and 4lb pulley havent had this problem.

If you turn your key to accesory (all the way back), does it still sound bad? Mine only sounds crappy with the key forward, and running. The dealer thinks it is the fuel pump causing interference since they have seen quite a few of those.

I don't think it is the fuel pump since it has worked fine for the last six months until this weekend when I put in the chip and pully.

Bone stock '03 and the radio reception blows! The head units in these trucks are junk.

My problem is that the radio reception was great for over six months, and now it sucks. Only two of the six channels that I have programed in that I have been listening to every day will come in now. There has to be a fix for this, or maybe it is being caused by something I did wrong on the install.

Its funny you guys mention this.
My reception was fine up until about a month ago.
Now, even the local stations have static in them.
